Freshening up my beauty look for 2011

Guest post written by Laura Adams

I think that one of the most embarrassing things that I can admit is that I still use the same makeup for my everyday look that I wore in college. By now it’s really outdated and I need to do something about that but I perfected that look and have no clue about what kind of makeup trends are in style and I could pull of now. So I’m making a New Year’s resolution to figure that out and change up my look.

I went online to look at some beauty blogs and pictures of celebrities to see details of how they wear their makeup. While I was doing that I randomly found some information about wireless internet providers and after I read more about them, I signed up with one of them for my home internet service.

I decided that I probably needed professional help with my beauty New Year’s resolutions, so I booked an appointment with a makeup artist, explained my dilemna and she helped me create a look that makes me look much more modern and feel gorgeous.

The Keepsake

I don’t get much time to get any real serious reading in. I do however get the chance once in a while and the last book that I got to finish was surprisingly a good read. Tess Gerritsen wrote the novel “The Keepsake” after writing “The Bone Garden” which I read a while back and enjoyed. Looks like I’ll be looking for more of Tess Gerritsen’s books in the near future.

The road to success

One of the things that most people don’t realize about our economy, is that the vast majority of the businesses that keep us employed are small businesses.  And that is one of the reasons why so many people get upset when they learn that large box-style chain stores are coming to town.  These large businesses are known for putting small businesses out of business!  So it can be nerve-wracking to even think about starting a business of one’s own.  But in this economy, with high unemployment, that may be the best option for many people!  That’s why it is so exciting to find a website that features information about small business grants!  This website has a lot of resources available to help people find (for free) the kind of help that they may need to get their new small business up and running.

And the great thing about a grant is that a grant really is free money – it is not a loan.  You don’t ever have to pay it back!  Who in their right mind will turn away free money?  Seriously folks, if you are thinking about starting your own small business, give this website a look-see.  You just might find some help there that will put you on the road to success.

Back on the right track

Talking heads on all the news channels keep telling us that the economy is getting better and that the recession will soon be over. I don’t know that I believe that, but I hope it is true. I have been fortunate to keep working and have the money to pay my bills. I know a lot of people have not been this lucky.

Sometimes recovering from a big financial setback is more than what a person can deal with on their own.  The best credit repair service is important to use to make sure that those have been struggling with debt can get their finances back on the right track.

Someone who was out of work for 5 or 6 month is most likely facing a pile of past due bills and possibly the threat of foreclosure. This person can make good use of a credit repair service to get the bills caught up and their credit history restored.

If you need help with credit repair, take a while to check around. You can get help from the professionals. Your credit history is one of your most valuable financial assets and you need to protect it.

MS Can Irritate the Skin

Skin irritation is another symptom and effect of Multiple Sclerosis. Both men and women need to pamper their skin, which is very hard for men who have to shave every day.

Men need to learn how to shave carefully. For a smooth shave, press a warm cloth on the skin for a minute or two to soften the hair and open the pores. Shaving after a warm bath or shower is ideal.  Don’t shave dry skin, as this causes razor burn. Always apply shaving lotion, cream, or gel to protect and lubricate your skin before using a razor.

Always use a clean and sharp razor. If you use an electric razor, avoid routinely using the closest setting, as this aggravates the skin. Pull the razor to shave in the direction of hair growth, not against it. After shaving, rinse thoroughly with warm water and, as a final step, apply a soothing moisterizing lotion that does not contain alcohol.
